If my plants could talk,
They'd probably curse me out.
Mad at me for lacking in care,
I'm sure they'd want to know
whats that all about.
I tried.
Unfortunately,
they don't like me as much as I like them.
I water them,
I feed them,
Give them a place to stay,
Just for them to
go on and wither away!
I talk to them with love,
even play them some nice tunes,
but all I get back
are crispy leaves and doom.
Regardless,
I remain dedicated to learning
their love language
and
I know they'll grow
once they truly feel nurtured.
I kept buying more.
Hopeful,
that despite my track record
maybe,
just maybe,
one day I'd learn the secrets of the plant whisperer.
Well,
more fell down and now I realize
that more plants is more work
and to prioritize the ones before my eyes.
So,
I'll keep loving my few out loud,
even when they roll those leafy green eyes!
Because even with their silent judgment,
they still bring brightness to my life.
While I focus on my three
I'm finally learning
That though they share the same owner,
they all are different
and have their own unique
needs.
